VERO BEACH — Gallery 14 is proud to present Mesaros Pancture Paintings – Goin’ Public Exhibit , a special expanded showing of work by renowned artist Francis Mesaros.
Mr. Mesaros, who is represented by Gallery 14, is collected internationally and admired for his dimensional sea paintings that mesmerize the mind and tantalize the senses.
The show will run through May 31, with a special reception on Friday night May 2, from 5-8 p.m., in conjunction with the Arts District First Friday Gallery Stroll.
At the reception, attendees will be able to meet the artist, who will discuss his paintings and offer insight into his technique and the multitude of emotions that inspire his work.
Sometimes referred to as sculpted oil, Mr. Mesaros’ further explains his methodology, “The term Pancture is used because the technique combines elements of painting and sculpture.”
Also highlighted in May, will be new work in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media, collage, jewelry, photography, ceramics and sculpture, by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Cheri Cruden, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, and Dorothy Napp Schindel and, in addition to Mr. Mesaros, the other represented artists: Carol Staub, Bryan Beck, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Walford Campbell, Viola Pace Knudsen and Emily Heinzel.
Gallery 14, located at 1911 14th Ave., is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
