Indian River Habitat Youth benefits from Bowl to Build

VERO BEACH — Nearly $9,100 was netted at the Indian River Habitat for Humanity’s Seventh Annual Bowl to Build Tournament on Oct. 13 at Vero Bowl, as 105 bowlers on 21 teams vied for prizes, fun, and a very good cause.

In the seven years the tournament has taken place, some $55,515 has been raised to benefit Habitat’s Scholarship Education Program.

Long time Habitat volunteer David Taylor chaired the Bowl to Build committee, with volunteer Kimberly Keithahn, staff, and youth from the Habitat Prep Club providing support on the day of the event.
