The event is presented by Fabulous and Fancy Events and is designed as a community gathering with historical themes and entertainment. Attendees can step back into the late 18th century with an evening centered on colonial-era traditions, music and social customs. Organizers say guests are encouraged to arrive in period-inspired attire, including representations of historical figures or everyday colonial roles, as part of the immersive atmosphere planned for the celebration. City of Vero Beach USA All Day is July the Fourth jam-packed, filled with fun and an opportunity to celebrate the country’s 250-year anniversary. It begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, with a grand Pioneers to Paradise Parade along 14th Avenue, participants representing local businesses, veterans groups, nonprofit organizations, churches and government agencies. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure viewing areas and to follow posted safety guidelines along the route. The parade is just the beginning. There will be a full day of Independence Day activities across multiple locations. After enjoying the parade, be sure to head to the Vero Beach Railroad Station, 2336 14th Ave. There you can see a classic and vintage vehicle display from 10 a.m. to noon presented by the Indian River Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America. The display will include cars and trucks spanning multiple decades, offering attendees a look at automotive history. The City of Vero Beach USA All Day will also include a public preview of the reactivated Vero Beach Railroad Station and Exhibit Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., hosted by the Indian River County Historical Society. The preview will feature exhibits, artifacts and educational materials, along with a model train display and membership information. Admission is free; $5 donations are encouraged. Then, head to Riverside Park, which will be the go-to spot for lots to do. Activities begin at 4 p.m. with food trucks, followed by a veterans’ ceremony titled “Respect to Colors” from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Organizers say the ceremony will honor military service members as part of the Independence Day observance. The celebration continues at 6 p.m. with live music by the band Riptide. There will be pie-eating and hot dog-eating contests and a hula hoop competition. A designated children’s area will also be available, providing family-friendly activities throughout the evening at Riverside Park. USA All Day concludes with a 9 p.m. fireworks display over the Indian River Lagoon at Riverside Park. Spectators are advised to follow safety rules, avoid bringing personal fireworks or pets, and plan for traffic and parking restrictions. The Vero Beach International Music Festival concerts begin Wednesday, July 8, and run through Saturday, July 11, at First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd. The concerts feature a series of performances by faculty from the Mike Block String Camp. The faculty concerts are at 7:30 p.m. on July 8 and July 10 (tickets are $25) and a culminating concert with students 7:30 p.m. Saturday July 11. That one is free, but scholarship donations are appreciated.The concerts feature an international lineup of performers, including Mike Block, Hanneke Cassel, Natalie Haas and other guest artists, performing a mix of contemporary and traditional repertoire. The concerts are open to the public and aim to connect the community with professional-level musicianship. Riverside Theatre Comedy Zone features military veterans turned stand-up comedians this weekend. On stage will be Josh Novey and Matt Broome.
