Robert J. Markham, 82, died July 30, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 20 years, coming from New York.
He was a veteran of the Air Force. Before retiring he worked for All State Insurance Co.
He was a member of the U.S. Power Squadron. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Edna L. Markham of Sebastian; daughter, Claire Hay of Middletown, N.Y.; sons, Kyle Markham of South Bend, Ind., and Clay Markham of Milford, Conn.; sister, Joanne Kessler of Whitehall, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
