I am not a morning person, but the sunrise during the Tour de Turtles release almost made me one.
As I walked barefoot in the sand before my first assignment I kept thinking, “I could have been in Wisconsin.” Granted, I worked in Tampa for 5 years before taking the job in the paradise we know as Vero Beach.
Not that waking up at 5:15 a.m. and going to this assignment made me a morning person, but it’s made me appreciate mornings a little more.
