Sterling Jones, 80, died May 30, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Millen, Ga., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 57 years, coming from Millen.
He was the co-founder and deacon of Jones Temple Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Gifford.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jones, of Vero Beach; brother, Charlie Jones, of Vero Beach; and sisters, Elizabeth Johnson, of Vero Beach and Lila M. Reed, of West Palm Beach.
Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 4 at Jones Temple Church of The Lord Jesus Christ.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. June 5 at the church. Burial will be at Lane Grove Cemetery, Millen.
Arrangements are by Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Vero Beach and James A. Kirkland Funeral Home in Millen.
