Benjamin John Nero Jr., 51, died March 25, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Plainfield, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Piscataway, N.J.
He was a member of the Mental Health Association and attended St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Nero, of Vero Beach; and sisters, Mary Ann Anderson, of Vero Beach and Edna Wesley, of Port St. Lucie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mental Health Association, 820 37th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. April 6 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
