Dr. John Louis Lenzen, 91, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Clare Bridge of Vero Beach.
He was born in Webster Groves, Mo., and lived in Vero Beach and Lake Toxaway, N.C.
He enjoyed his family practice in Fort Lauderdale from 1953 to 1989.
He served in the Army as an officer in World War II.
He was a Catholic and attended Holy Cross for more than 28 years.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lois Lenzen, of Vero Beach; daughter, Linda Treiber, of Orlando; sons, Dr. Jonathan Lenzen, of Halifax, Va., and Christopher Lenzen, of Fort Lauderdale; and sisters, Polly Lenzen, of Fort Lauderdale, Frances Cassilly, of Fort Myers and Catherine Schroer, of Kansas City, Kan.; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
