Irene Leard Straka, 92, died Nov. 8, 2012, in Vero Beach.
She was born in Rhode Island and lived in Vero Beach for six years, coming from Sarasota.
She was a member of the Vero Beach Veterans Inc.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth E. McCarthy, of Vero Beach; son, Norman W. Leard III, of Tobyhannah, Penn.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman W. Leard Jr. and John Straka; and daughter, Barbara E. Polson.

There will be no services.
Interment will be private.
Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart.
