VERO BEACH — Regency Park recently announced that it will present the First Annual Ms. Senior Florida Pageant, which is slated for March 23, 2013, at the Vero Beach Performing Arts Center.
In addition to the sponsorship, Regency Park’s dedicated associates will work with Pageant Director Hedi Headley of Carefree Public Relations to help launch the inaugural event.
The Ms. Senior Florida Pageant is a celebration of life and self worth, of laughter and tears, of inner beauty, and outward charm. Its purpose is to give women 60 years of age and better the opportunity to display their inner beauty, talents, philosophy, and elegance.
“We are excited about working with pageant organizers to draw attention to the achievements of senior women, to motivate and encourage women to utilize their full potential, and share a positive outlook on life with others,” explained Kara Anderson, Campus Executive Director of Regency Park.
“As a senior living community, our associates have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful women who are amazing role models. The pageant is an opportunity for women throughout Florida to share their stories and inspire women of all ages to aspire to reach their greatest potential,” Anderson added.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Florida for at least three months.
Grand prize information will be announced by January 1, 2013.
The deadline for applications will be December 15, 2012.
