SRA recognizes Samuel Clemons for transformational project

VERO BEACH — The Senior Resource Association (SRA) Board of Directors presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Samuel Clemons in recognition of the transformational impact his Eagle Scout Service Project has had on the organization.

Samuel Clemons of Boy Scout Troop 599 in Sebastian chose the Senior Resource Association as the site where he created a serenity garden to complete his Eagle Scout Service Project.

Samuel designed the garden to host a variety of sustainable plants, purchased materials, coordinated the volunteers, and labored for three weekends to see the project to its completion.

“Samuel has given the front entrance to our administrative offices a more inviting appearance since the completion of the serenity garden,” explained Karen Deigl, President/CEO of SRA.

Becoming an Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program, which is an achievement that has been accomplished by several men of prominence; President Gerald R. Ford, Steven Spielberg, and Neil Armstrong have all earned this rank.
