VERO BEACH — Girard Equipment, known as the premier North American manufacturer of pressure relief vents and magnetic vacuum breakers, announces the launch of a monthly cash award named “Helping EQUIP Today’s Youth.” (The H.E.T.Y. Award)
This award, by design, is meant to directly benefit those organizations and clubs throughout Indian River County that focus on our youth ranging from toddlers to teens.
“We have been closely involved with the Gifford youth for some time now and thought it would be a great way to expand on our mission to give back,” said President of Girard Equipment Timothy Girard.
Each month various organizations that enrich, educate, and entertain Indian River County youth are encouraged to fill out an application for Girard Equipment to sponsor their organization’s event or cause.
At the end of each month, the Girard Equipment Awards Committee, headed by Director of Marketing Anna Valencia, will vote and award a different group each time with a $300 donation. A mini awards ceremony will be facilitated to present each organization with their honor at the Girard Equipment corporate office.
