Marjorie J. Biondo, 81, died Sept. 19, 2012, at VNA Hospice in Vero Beach.
She was born in Nashville, Tenn., and lived in the area since 1979, coming from Istanbul, Turkey.
She was a homemaker, and was of the Southern Baptist faith.
She was a member of Cora Stickney Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; Treasure Coast African Violet Society; and the Garden Club, both of Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her son, Sam Biondo Jr., of Centreville, Va., three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Col. Samuel Biondo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Pierce.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 25 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
