Treasure Coast Chorale will “Give Its Regards” to Broadway at March 11 concert

VERO BEACH — Broadway’s favorite hits from past and present musicals will be sung by the Treasure Coast Chorale and Friends on Sunday, March 11 at both 3 and 7 p.m. Conducted by Music Director Michael Carter, the 80 members of the Chorale celebrate their 10th Anniversary Year with “Give Our Regards to Broadway,” a selection of rollicking choruses, soaring solos, timeless trios, and precise accompaniments.

“This is one of our favorite concerts because the audience just loves the music from Forty-Second Street, Carousel, Fiddler On The Roof, Evita and Mamma Mia among many others,” says Carter.

“We will be singing two performances on March 11, at 3 p.m. and at 7 p.m. to accommodate our many loyal fans and anyone who enjoys this brilliant music. And we will also have a special time for those who can’t help singing along.”

Friends of the Chorale who will be performing include Vero’s oldies singing trio “The Dolls,” Dave Mundy, Richie Mola, and pianist Judy Carter.

Held at the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach, doors will open for seating at 2 p.m. for the matinee concert and at 6 p.m. for the evening one and the audience is encouraged to arrive early as most of the recent TCC concerts have been SRO. There is no admission charge but the audience will be asked for a free-will offering to show their appreciation for this musical gift to the community.

The last concert of the TCC season will be “God Bless America” on May 27 at 7 p.m. More information is available on the chorale’s website www.treasurecoastchorale.org or by calling (772) 643-0019.
