Wilma C. Woods, 93, died Jan. 16, 2012, at Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami.
She was born in Miami and lived in Sebastian for 25 years, coming from Miami Springs.
Before retirement, she was the cafeteria manager at Miami Springs Elementary and Biscayne Gardens Elementary.
She was a member of the Welcome Wagon, the Miami Springs Club, the Eastern Airlines Wives Club, and the Red Hatters Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Tomasetti, of Palmetto Bay; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Travis Thigpen; and brothers, Byron and Stanley Pocock.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Jan. 23 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, with a service at 2 p.m. and burial to follow at Sebastian Municipal Cemetery.
