Dr. David M. Scruggs, 77, died Aug. 10, 2011, in Vero Beach.
He was born in Detroit and lived in Vero Beach for eight years, coming from California.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 16 at St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Vero Beach.
