VERO BEACH –The Senior Resource Association (SRA) proudly introduces its new Silver Tones Chorus Director, Allen Rosenberg. Formerly Artistic Director of the Saint Lucie Chorale, Dr. Rosenberg has 15 years of experience in choral conducting.
SRA invites those who are interested in learning more about the Silver Tones Chorus to Introduction Night on Thursday, August 25, beginning at 3:15 p.m. at the Schumann Hall Senior Center, 686 14th Street, Vero Beach, FL.
This event will provide a chance to meet Dr. Rosenberg, get more information about, and sign up for, the Silver Tones Chorus. Immediately following Introduction Night will be a showing of the documentary film, “Young at Heart.”
SRA’s Silver Tones Chorus, sponsored by the Leo & Peggy Pierce Family Foundation, began in 2007 with the vision of providing older adults with a meaningful musical outlet that encourages their unique talents, and provides a service to the community.
The Silver Tones Chorus is scheduled to perform two intergenerational concerts which will take place December 15, 2011 and March 20, 2012 at the Emerson Center.
