William Everett Russell, Jr., 74, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at his home.
He was born November 25, 1936, in Miami.
Russell has lived in Vero Beach for 39 years, coming from Hollywood.
Russell was of the Protestant faith.
Russell retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He also worked for nine years at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Peggy Russell, of Vero Beach; sons Paul Russell, of Wisconsin, and Christopher Russell, of Vero Beach; daughters Karen Russell and Kim Riggins, both of Vero Beach; brother Robert Russell, of Georgia; and six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
