Pelican Island Audubon Society to discuss critical fish habitat in lagoon

SEBASTIAN – The Pelican Island Audubon Society will discuss critical fish habitat in the Indian River Lagoon at its next meeting.

Dr. Grant Gilmore, Fish Ecologist and Senior Research Scientist with Estuarine Coastal & Ocean Sciences, Inc., will be addressing the direct value of larval and juvenile fish habitat to regional fisheries. That meeting will be held May 9 at 6 p.m. at the North County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd.

The public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
