VERO BEACH — Idea Garden Advertising and Production House is pleased to announce Planetvero Radio is coming to WAXE1370am, 107.9fm and will be streamed worldwide at WAXE 1370.com, starting Monday, April 4.
The programming will feature a wide range of local personalities engaging listeners in a wide range of topics. The show is designed to cover everything and everybody “Vero.” The program will air Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 pm.
The principles of Idea Garden Advertising include Wayne and Sally Dillon who launched, owned and operated broadcast properties in our area for over a decade including WQOL and WOSN Ocean-FM. Rounding out Idea Garden’s ownership is Donna Roberts Mitchell, who has an extensive background in radio including on-air shifts on 95.5fm, 101.7fm and years in radio sales management.
“Radio has always been an integral part of what we do and we are delighted to have the opportunity to serve our clients and the community with this new project,” said Mitchell. “We have an exciting line-up of interesting people speaking on diverse topics of interest to Vero. It is exciting to move in the direction of news and information, after having been a rock jock, years ago.”
The program will be produced at the Idea Garden production house.
“Our facility has a studio with room for lots of guests, really opening up our options,” said Wayne Dillon. One of the first guests will be Kirk Cameron, who recently appeared at the Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast. Cameron will be a guest on John Bona’s weekly hour on Mondays at 6 pm, entitled “Stories of Liberty.”
Sally Dillon has produced a public affairs program for Clear Channel for over a decade.
“The five Treasure Coast Clear Channel stations have been incredibly generous to regional non-profits. The value of the donated airtime soared past seven figures, years ago. Now, we have the opportunity to expand our service to non-profits with interviews to heighten awareness and promote upcoming events. I am humbled and thrilled by this opportunity,” she said.
