William Bradford Roman, 94, of Vero Beach

William Bradford Roman, 94, of Vero Beach, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Roman was born May 17, 1916, in Detroit, Mich.

He has been a resident of Vero Beach for 17 years, coming from Miami.

Roman was a former member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

He was an attorney and a certified public accountant.

He retired 29 years ago as the vice president of Pan American Bank Shares.

Roman was a member of Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.

He was also a member of the Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mildred; daughter, Patricia Dingfelder, of Warsaw, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, William Roman Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Christ by the Sea Church in Vero Beach. Private interment will take place at Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Miami.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida.
