VBMA and ACO Present the Beauty of the Violin Feb. 20

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra present the second offering of their 2011 Chamber Music series on Sunday, February 20 in the Museum’s Leonhardt Auditorium. The concert takes place at 4 pm and is followed by a wine reception until 6 pm. The program titled The Beauty of the Violin features wunderkind Port St. Lucie resident Maryna Yermolenko in a world-class performance of classics and favorites for violin including Vivaldi’s Sonata for violin and piano in A Major; Strauss’s Sonata for violin and piano; Wagner’s Albumblatt; Tchaikovsky’s Melodie; and Wieniawski’s Variations on an Original Theme.

The return of this popular Chamber Music series marks the third season of this unique cultural partnership between the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and the Vero Beach Museum of Art. Internationally acclaimed Grammy Award nominee and ACO conductor Stewart Robinson hosts these intimate musical offerings.

Individual tickets are $40 for the general public and $30 for Museum members.
