INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 58 in Fort Pierce has announced its About Boating Safe schedule for 2011. Dates are Saturdays, January 15, February 19 and March 19. Most presentations are given in one day, starting at 8 am, and registration is offered in advance by phone or in person on the day of the event. One day training and insurance cost reductions (each individual must check with their insurance company) are possible.
The low cost training is offered at $36 per eight hour program. Significant family discounts are offered at $10 for each additional member. Included are materials, work book certificate, one year free membership in Boat US, and filing of forms with the State of Florida for the Florida State Boaters Card.
USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 58 is located at 1400 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce, FL 34949. Directions: From US Hwy 1 Fort Pierce travel East across South Bridge on Seaway Drive (A1A S.) towards the inlet, pass U.S.C.G Station Ft. Pierce, one mile further on the left to the old Coast Guard Station, left into our parking lot
