Leo Ladefian, 87, died Dec. 6, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Providence, R.I., and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years, coming from Chepachet, R.I.
He served in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He also was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was a member of the Christian faith and a longtime member of Friendship Lodge 7, F.&A.M. in Chepachet and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary A. Ladefian, of Vero Beach; sons, Leo R. Ladefian, of Vero Beach, and Robert A. Ladefian, of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Richard R. Ladefian.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 11 at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
