VERO BEACH — As a result of the economy’s increasing financial crisis, health care professionals are stepping forward to provide free services individuals in Indian River County who are homeless and at-risk
On Wednesday, November 17, from 10 am to 12 pm, Health Port Chiropractic, Keiser University, and the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) will provide health services to clients of The Source. Services include blood pressure & glucose screenings and massages offered by Keiser University; private assessment consultations and discussions on health & nutritional issues offered by Dr. Jason Alviene, DC of Health Port Chiropractic and Dr. Alex Snodgress of 5 Seasons Acupuncture. The VNA will be administering free flu shots to all eligible clients.
The Source is a Christian outreach ministry for homeless individuals and families at-risk. The doors of The Source are open six days a week to meet the needs of our community, offering daily hot meals, an emergency food pantry, clothing, showers, counseling, support groups and a host of other services.
