The Ashley Gang performs at Library Coffee House Nov.5

SEBASTIAN — The Ashley Gang will perform at the Library Coffee House from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 5 at the North Indian River County Library in Sebastian. This all-time favorite band is returning to play country, jazz, and traditional folk music. Admission is free but donations are accepted to cover the costs of gourmet pastries and coffee.

The Ashley Gang plays many original songs written by Al Scortino of Sebastian which reflect the history and culture of the area.  The group is routinely featured at Florida’s major folk events, including the Florida Folk Festival, South Florida Folk Festival, Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Will McLean Folk Festival, and the Barberville Fall Jamboree.

The band includes Norm McDonald of Rockledge, and Michelle Moncrief-Lowe from Flagler Beach as well as Sebastian’s own Al Scortino
