Wanda M. Grice, 69, died Sept. 2, 2010, at her residence in Vero Beach.
Grice moved to Vero Beach in 1958 from Homestead, Fla., and graduated from Vero Beach High School. Wanda will most be remembered for her fun loving and vibrant personality and being one of the town’s best hair color specialist. She touched everyone’s life with the colors of a rainbow.
She received her cosmetology degree in Orlando. She was employed at Powder Puff Salon and was co-owner of Jamie’s Beauty Salon prior to opening Wanda’s Beauty Bar.
Later she moved to New Jersey and was employed by Redken beauty suppliers for 23 years returning to Vero Beach this past January of 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicole Grice-West, of Vero Beach; and grandson, Riley West, of Vero Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Margrietta Faircloth Chandler.
