Jean Bailey Nagy, 82, died Aug. 18, 2010.
She was born in Chicago and lived in Vero Beach since 1983. She graduated from Chicago State University. Before retirement, she was a teacher. She was a member of the Vero Beach Art Club, serving four terms as its president. She served as president of the Sebastian Ladies Golf League for two terms and was 2008 recipient of the Cultural Council of Indian River County’s Laurel Award for Artistic Professionalism.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Stephen; daughter, Cynthia Schneider, of Park Ridge, Ill.; sons, Richard, of Evergreen Park, Ill., and Jeffrey, of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 28 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home.
