Vero Beach Art Club Art Trail set for Dec. 4

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club’s Art Trail will be held on Saturday, December 4, from 10 am to 4 pm.  The event is a unique tour of 12 artists in their 10 studios/homes around Vero Beach.  Meet and mingle with the artists and get an intimate look at how they create their works.  Art will also be available to view and buy.

Last year this highly popular event sold out with only a smattering of a few tickets left at the individual artist’s studios.  Even though it rained the day of the event, it did not slow down the enthusiasm or the attendance of the ticket holders.  It was a very special event for all.

Janvier & Gustav Miller, Chris & Richard Pierce, Doraté Muller, Ellen Fischer, Sharon Sandel, Susan Gancher, Ivo David, Eileen Farrell, John Cullen and J. Scott Kelly are this year’s participants (two husband and wife teams).  Everything from fine handcrafted jewelry, stained glass, pottery, mixed media, photography, sculpture and various mediums of paintings will be represented.

This is an intimate look into the mindset and techniques of each individual artist with an up close and personal connection to speak directly to the artists as you view their work.  The tour makes for a wonderful afternoon to share with friends and family right before the holiday season kicks off and all the artists will offer various forms of refreshment along the way.  They will also offer many of their pieces for sale so it is also a great way to shop for the holidays for a special piece for your special someone and since you are in your own vehicle, you can go at your own pace and comfort level in whatever order you prefer.

Tickets go on sale November 1 at the Vero Beach Art Club office, located inside the Vero Beach Museum of Art, and at the Artist Guild Gallery on 14th Avenue in Downtown Vero Beach.  Tickets in advance are $20 each or $35 for two or $25 each and $45 for two on the day of the Art Trail.
