John William “Butch” Kimberly, 83, died July 29, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. He was born in Milford, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years after coming from his birthplace.
He was the Heavy Equipment Mechanic for City Lumber Company in Bridgeport, Conn., for 20 years. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Kimberly was a member of Moose Lodge #1767, Vero Beach and the Local #191 New England Teamsters in Bridgeport, Conn.
Survivors include his son, John Lawrence Kimberly, of Milford, Conn.; daughters, Pamela Kimberly, of Garland, Texas, Kathleen Blewett, of Newtown, Conn., Kelly Cummings, of Santa Clarita, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Jean Kimberly and Lois Kimberly.
