INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — At a recent Tourism Luncheon, The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Division presented Jonathan Starratt with its Annual Tourism Division Award. This recognizes a member of our Tourism Community who serves on and attends multiple tourism committees and who consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to the success of the Tourism Industry.
Jonathan Starratt is the Hotel Sales Manager at Capt Hiram’s, working with Group and Corporate Clients. Since joining the Tourism Committee, Jonathan Starratt’s participation has been over and above what is expected in cooperation and work with other local Tourism Partners, making an impact on the Chamber’s overall tourism.
“Jonathan’s enthusiasm and passion for Capt Hiram’s, Indian River County, and life in general, has made him a huge asset to Capt Hiram’s, and to tourism in the County,” said Debra Jansen, Marketing Director at Capt Hiram’s. “No matter what the task, he gives it 110%, always with an infectious smile and willingness to go that extra mile. Capt Hiram’s is very fortunate to have Jonathan as their front man, representing us with enthusiasm and style.”
The Chamber is the designated tourism development agency and serves as the county agency for Film Florida. The Chamber works in close cooperation with the County’s Tourism Development Council, Board of County Commissioners, and local visitor industry partners.
