David L. Miller, 58, died June 16, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Olean, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian since 2005, coming from Lake Placid, N.Y., and Kailua, Hawaii.
He worked for Indian River Medical Center emergency room as a registered nurse. He was a member of American Legion Post 74, Sebring.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Miller of Sebastian; sons, Nathan Miller of Lake Placid and M.J. Biermann of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Rachael Hill of Lake Placid and Christina Peterson of Sebastian; sister, Julie Yomota of Honolulu; and three grandchildren.
A memorial will be from 5 to 7 p.m. June 23 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, with a wake service at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii.
