Emerson Center Series tickets available on-line

VERO BEACH — Donald Croteau, Chairman of the Special Events Committee at the Emerson Center, is pleased to announce that Celebrated Speakers Series Subscriptions can now be purchased on-line as well as by calling the Box Office.

“Last year we introduced on-line single ticket purchases to our events and after a successful season of offering that convenience, we are now offering series subscriptions for sale on-line,” explained Croteau.

The lineup of speakers for 201l, presented by Wilmington Trust, has been expanded from four to five speakers to provide more diversity and excitement for the Vero Beach audiences.  Appearing on January 15, 2011 will be Peggy Noonan, Author and political columnist, followed by Patrick Jake (P.J.) O’Rourke, America’s premier political satirist on February 5, 2011. Author and a former national security advisor to the President of the United States, Zbigniew Brzezinski, will appear on February 26, 2011. Gwen Ifill, the moderator and managing editor for Washington Week follows on March 19, 2011, and Paul Krugman, one of the world’s foremost economists, concludes the series on April 9, 2011.

Series ticket buyers have the option of subscribing to only four of the speakers (the first four or the last four only) for $220 or for all five speakers, the cost is $275. Seats are available at either the 4 pm or 7 pm performances.

If you prefer to call, the Emerson Center Box Office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 772-778-5249. Single tickets will not go on sale until mid December.  To secure the best seats, early ticket purchases are advised.
