Awaken Your Intuition

ROSELAND — No need to be “bopped on the head” or struck by lightening anymore as Uma Simon will be leading a workshop helping people tap into their own intuition on Saturday, April 24 at Kashi.  This fun, experiential workshop, “Opening Your Spiritual Eye – Expanding Awareness and Compassion” will be held at the Kashi School of Yoga, 11155 Roseland Road in Sebastian from 1 to 4 p.m. Ms. Simon will offer instruction, meditation and exercises designed to awaken one’s own natural creative and intuitive abilities. The cost of the workshop is $35.

“Everyone has the ability to be intuitive, but many people often don’t trust what they feel or know to be true,” said Ms. Simon. “My goal is to create an atmosphere of trust so that people are empowered to create what they wish in their lives.”

Currently there are great treasures emerging from the spiritual practices of the world. Known in Eastern philosophy and yoga as ‘the seat of the Soul,’ there is an energy center in the center of the forehead called the Third Eye that is associated with spiritual truth and intuitive guidance. It is a place of inner wisdom, and when awakened, can give answers to one’s deepest questions. It can be as subtle as the wind or as obvious as a “gut feeling.”

“Students will learn to access this place for greater awareness and everyday happiness. The third eye is actually the gateway of knowing one’s connection to their divine spirit,” added Ms. Simon.

Ms. Simon is a spiritual teacher, intuitive counselor and massage therapist. Founder of the Women’s Center of Sebastian, she has offered numerous workshops on topics such as body awareness, acupuncture, Reiki, Chi Gong and Spiritual Empowerment. In addition to sharing her wisdom with students along the Treasure Coast, she has taught in Miami, Atlanta, Charleston and Santa Cruz inviting women who loved what they did in their lives to share their experiences with others.
