Republican Women of Indian River to celebrate 60th Anniversary

VERO BEACH – Republican Women of Indian River will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at the Riomar Country club.

RWIR is the fifth oldest Republican women’s club in Florida .  We have been active in promoting conservative principles and getting Republicans elected.  Many of our members have served in elected offices.  We have much in which to be proud.

We are fortunate to have as our keynote speaker Michelle Easton of the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute.  Michelle has been a prominent person in the conservative movement.  Her work with the CBLPI provides inspiration to our young women on college campuses that only give the liberal side.

Cost will be $100 a person.  Proceeds from this event will go toward our scholarship fund.  RWIR gives two $1,000 scholarships each year.  One is given to a graduating senior and the other is given to a person who promotes conservative principles in his/her school or community.  Please mark your calendars on May 15th for this dinner evening as we stroll down memory lane of RWIR and look forward to our future.

Sponsorships and program ads are available.  Please contact Linda Teetz at (772) 492-1662 or Laurie Blakelock-Rodriguez at (772) 569-2460 if you would like to be a sponsor.
