Patricia L. Clukey, 66, died Jan. 3, 2010, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in New Orleans and lived in Vero Beach since 1988, coming from DeLand. Before retiring, she was a business office manager for BellSouth. She was a member of the telephone Pioneers of America and Abiding Presence International Ministry, where she served as an elder.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Richard P. Clukey Sr. of Vero Beach; son, Paul Clukey of St. Cloud; sister, Barbara Duplantis of Marrero, La.; brother, James Lawson of Gretna, La.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard P. Clukey Jr.; and her parents, Elwood and Edith Lawson.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 8 at South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
