Robert G. McGee, 89, died Dec. 18, 2009, at the JFK Medical Center in Lake Worth.
He was born in Dell Rapids, S.D., and lived in Vero Beach since 1982, coming from Chelmsford, Mass. He was a district manager for the National Distillery & Chemical Corp. for the Massachusetts and Rhode Island area.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Forces. He was a member of the Exchange Club and a Little League volunteer in Massachusetts. He was a past president and served on the board of directors of the Countryside Social Congregation and was active at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his sons, Gary R. McGee of Lowell, Mass., and Greg McGee of Wellington; daughter, Cheryl M. Cellucci of Belmont, Mass.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline C. McGee.
