John Barrett Morgan, 21, of Vero Beach, died Dec. 5 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1988 in Sarasota and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1995 coming from Winter Haven. John was a member of the First Christian Church of Vero Beach and had attended the University of Central. He worked as a bookkeeper for Sunny Fresh Citrus, Vero Beach He is survived by his father and mother, Rev. J. Earl and Elizabeth Morgan of Vero Beach; 2 sisters, Jessica and Julie Morgan of Vero Beach; maternal grandparents, Dale and Marie Matheny of McKenzie, Tenn., and Geraldine Matheny of Portland, Ore.; paternal grandparents, Julian and Anne Morgan of Memphis.A memorial service will be held Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Vero Beach with Dr. Robert Baggott officiating.
