VERO BEACH — Dogs for Life, Inc. (DFL) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to the community will host an Assistance Dog Presentation at the United Way (1836 14th Avenue) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The event is free and should be attended by anyone wanting to know how Assistance Dogs are trained, whether your dog may qualify to be trained as an assistance dog, and business owners interested in how assistance dogs might affect their business. Assistant State Attorney Chris Taylor will outline laws pertaining to assistance dogs and the penalties for interfering with an assistance animal. DFL Assistance Dog Teams will be present to share how assistance dogs work for them and answer questions.
