A boil water notice advisory has been issued for seven homes on 43rd Ave. SW on Thursday, Oct. 15. The residents at 407, 409, 413, 415, 455, 465, and 475 are expected to be without water for about eight hours, according to county officials. The water will be shut off are 10 a.m. so that contractors can install a water valve. Once water is restored, residents will need to boil their water for one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth and hand washing dishes.Bottled water can be used instead of boiling water if residents so choose.
This boil water notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. We are unable to provide an exact time of survey completion, however we estimate the time to be no more than 72 hours. A rescission notice will be distributed.
