Vikki Wells, 59, died July 4, 2009, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in St. Louis and lived in Vero Beach. She was a children’s swim instructor and was known as the “Angel Lady” and “Flower Lady” to hundreds. She was the founder of the Universal Angel Foundation and chartering president of the National Association of Women in Construction chapter in Vero Beach. She also was a board member of the General Contractors Association of America. Survivors include her brother, Eugene Wells, of Vero Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Wells and Shirley Wells.A memorial service for Vikki Wells will be from noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 15 at Leisure Square. The Vero Beach Barracudas Swim Team will be collecting contributions in her memory for the Homeless Family Center.Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home and Crematory, Treasure Coast Chapel.
