Police still searching for two missing teens

Update: Michael Paul Rusin, 17, of Braddock Street, ran away again a couple hours after he was found safe Thursday afternoon at the Indian River Mall, Sebastian police Lt. Tim Wood said.

Wood said officers received reports of Rusin running away from home a second time about 4 p.m., two hours after he was found at the mall. Police continue to search for Rusin, who originally had been missing since Tuesday morning.

Rusin is 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said. Rusin has a scar on his right ear and a cross tattoo on his right hand.

Officers are also looking for Tommy York, 17, of Stony Point Drive. York has been missing since Sunday, police said.

Both teens are considered runaways.

SEBASTIAN — One of two missing Sebastian teens was found safe Thursday, police said.

Michael Paul Rusin, 17, of Braddock Street, was found about 2 p.m. Thursday at the Indian River Mall, 6200 20th Street, Sebastian police Sgt. Todd Finnegan said. Rusin had been missing from his home since Tuesday morning.

Officers continue to search for Tommy James York, 17, of Stony Point Drive. Police said York has been missing since Sunday.

The missing report cases for York and Rusin were not related, Sebastian police Lt. Tim Wood said.

York was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and blue jeans, police said. York has a tattoo on his right forearm that says ‘loyalty.’

Police said York is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Anyone who sees York or knows his whereabouts should contact Finnegan at 772-589-5233 ext. 8521.
