Clifford Adrian Petty, 84, Vero Beach

Clifford Adrian Petty, 84, died Nov. 9, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

He was born in Palm City and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Davie. Before retirement, he was a mechanic and shop steward at Avis Rent-a-Car, retiring after 27 years.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Boulier-Petty, of Vero Beach; son, Michael Petty, of Bluffton, S.C.; stepson, Wayne Boulier, of Davie; daughters, Gina Boiko, of Bradenton, Maryann Atkins, of Pfafftown, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Petty, in 1999.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 11 with a service to follow at 1 p.m. at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
