Charles Wesley Penny Jr., 66, died May 29, 2010, in Fellsmere.
He was born in West Palm Beach and lived in Fellsmere for 21 years, coming from West Palm Beach. He was employed with the Indian River County School Board as a supervisor.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Penny of Fellsmere; sons, Andrian Penny of West Palm Beach and Jerome Clark of Fellsmere; daughters, Brandi Armstrong of Fellsmere and Alkenette Penny-Baker of West Palm Beach; sisters, Jency Penny Brinson of the Bronx, N.Y.; Margaret Penny Cummings of Riviera Beach; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 4 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Gifford. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. June 5, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Fellsmere.
