John Francis Mulligan, 82, died Nov. 27, 2009, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born in Baltimore and lived in Vero Beach since 1988, coming from Mantoloking Shores, N.J. Before retirement, he was the owner-operator of Multi Chevrolet in Union, N.J. He served in the Navy and was a longtime Rotarian. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Denise Grace Mulligan of Vero Beach; son, Kip John Mulligan of Vero Beach; sisters, Barbara Machnick of Brick Township, N.J., and Patricia Crain of New Jersey; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Coit Matthew Mulligan. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. No services are planned.
