Ruby S. Hamilton, 81, of Vero Beach, died July 1, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
She was a member of King’s Baptist Church in Vero Beach. Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Hamilton, of Vero Beach, and Frances Hardman, of Kingwood, Texas; brother, Russell Story, of Sevierville, Tenn.; sister, Frances Frossard, of Washington; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Hamilton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. July 5 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A service will be at 11 a.m. July 6 at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
