VERO BEACH — Medical examiners used dental records to identify the decomposed remains of a man found in a wooded area more than two weeks ago. The man was identified as 46-year-old Jeffrey R. Bartholomew, according to Vero Beach police. Sheriff's deputies discovered the body Wednesday in a wooded area near Old Dixie Highway and turned the case over to Vero Beach police, reports show. VERO BEACH — No injuries were reported after a suspect tied up a manager at Mulligan's Beach House before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash over the weekend, police said. Now, officers are combing through evidence left behind at the scene, along with nearby surveillance footage, to catch the individual.
