Larry E. Wells, 66, of Vero Beach, passed away at Sebastian River Medical Center on March 25, 2016.
He is survived by his son Michael (Jessica) Wells of Wabasso; daughter Renee (Travis) Chahoc of Vero Beach; former wife and life partner Janice Ercolin of Vero Beach; grandchildren Nicky Williams, Taylor Chahoc, Shelby Wells, Sophie Wells and Scarlet Wells; sister Carolyn Halstead of Fort Myers and a brother Gary Wells of Jacksonville.
Wells was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., moving to Vero Beach in 1958. He remained a Vero Beach resident until his passing.
He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Marine Corp while stationed in Germany.
Wells worked at Piper Aircraft for a number of years before going to work in the citrus industry where he had been a machine operator at the Deerfield Packing House, Quality Packing House and Graves Brothers Packing House.
Throughout his life he enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Vero Beach.
A graveside service will take place at Winter Beach at a time to be determined.
