Ingrid Dalland Lawrence, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 3, 2016, at VNA Hospice House after a brief illness.
She is survived by all of her children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many wonderful and dear friends.
Lawrence was born on May 7, 1934, in Bloomington, Ill. She became an Air Hostess for Eastern Airlines where she met and married Captain Carlton Dalland, and together they had three children, Chris, Wayne, and Julie.
Carlton passed away in 1987 and Ingrid was later remarried to Leslie “Les” Lawrence.
She and Les enjoyed serving together in many community services and church ministries in Vero Beach. Les passed away in 2004 after a sudden illness.
Lawrence was very active in the ladies ministry of Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the Indian River Medical Center Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service celebrating Ingrid’s life will be held at the Christ By The Sea UMC in Vero Beach on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow. Memorial donations made be made in Ingrid’s name to the IRMC Auxiliary.
