INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Two men have been arrested after a search warrant of their home yielded drugs, drug paraphernalia, two loaded handguns and several boxes of ammunition last Wednesday.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at the Wabasso home in the 6400 block of 86th Street at around 1 a.m. on Nov. 25. The agency released the information about the arrests today.
Jeremy Collins and William Brooks were both home at the time the warrant was served. They were each taken into custody without incident, according to the arrest affidavit.
Authorities discovered three grams of cocaine, less than 20 grams of marijuana, 16 hydromorphone pills, eight oxycodone pills, two loaded handguns, several boxes of ammunition, a digital scale with cocaine residue, and a marijuana grinder during the search.
Documentation for both defendants were also located at the residence.
Jeremy Collins, 29, has a registered address of 835 Barber Street in Sebastian. He faces charges including felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of oxycodone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana under 20 grams.
William Brooks, 54, of 6475 86th Street, Wabasso, faces charges including two counts felony possession of cocaine, felony conspiracy to sell or deliver a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts possession of a firearm or ammo by a convicted felon, possession marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of oxycodone.
Collins and Brooks were both released Friday, each on $5,000 bond.
